While there is nothing inherently wrong with using test strips to get the chemistry reading in your pool or spa, using test strips only could prove to be problematic over time. Test strips give you more or less a ball park of a pools chemistry levels and will not give you exact levels. While this may be fine in the short term you will at some point need more exact reading to keep your pool well balanced.
