Going out on a bid for a new service account is exciting and often there are perils we cannot see at the time. Maybe a pool has an existing stain but the customer never saw it until you took over service? Or you noticed the motor was very loud and after you take over the pump is dead. The new customer may think you are the cause of these things, but if you document things on your bid you can avoid the pitfalls of being the fall guy. I go over some commonsense practices in this podcast for your next pool bid.
